Two random shots from Salt Lake City

I took these with my wife while we were downtown walking around. I really wish I had my tripod, as the majority of the pictures I took that night turned out to be a blurry mess. There was something about this dad talking to his daughter that was a bit charming, however. This big ball of light was actually a bunch of used water bottles glued together into a giant sphere and a light had been placed smack dab in the middle of them. Pretty neat. The other shot is out in front of the X-Mission offices, a popular local ISP.

Welcome to my Photoblog
After some urging by friends and family I've decided to start posting some of the random pictures I've taken. My cousin's wife showed me that she was publishing a picture for each day of the year, so I figured I would copy the idea. I'm not very good, but I'm having fun. Feel free to leave comments, criticisms, and tips. Thanks! Oh, and for the curious, I'm shooting primarily with either my Canon EOS 40D or my Sony Cybershot DSC-W150.
